As you approach one of the most special and exciting times of your life, it is important to be as prepared as possible. Our intention in this one day workshop is to empower you with information and strategies, giving you the best chance to experience an active, natural and gentle birth.

We will be covering the following topics:

Preparation for birth: mental, physical, emotional, nutritional
Strategies to better cope with pain
The role of the father and support people working as a team
First and second stages of labour (including the mechanics of the pelvis, birth positions, breathing, pelvic floor etc)
The first hour after birth
Breastfeeding
The role of Chiropractic in your pregnancy, birth and beyond
vaccination
