Troy Miles, Chiropractor
Since graduating from RMIT in 2004, Troy has worked in several practices around Victoria and locumed throughout Australia before joining Lotus in 2011. Troy’s family have been receiving regular chiropractic care since Troy was a few days old. Subsequently, he has a thorough understanding of just how chiropractic helps in growing up to live a natural, healthy and active life.
Troy is passionate about allowing people of all ages to live a happy and healthy life and to reach their optimum health potential. As a chiropractor, he loves taking care of families over many generations, from babies only a few days old, through to their great grandparents. He especially loves working with school aged kids and working alongside his wife Georgia here at Lotus.
Troy’s integrated approach uses a range of chiropractic techniques from low force to manual styles of Chiropractic. He has a specific focus using Sacro Occiptal Technique (SOT), which he has an advanced certification in; he is also a certified Craniopath. Troy is a Primary Educator and board member for SOT in Australia. He is also certified in the Webster Technique (for pregnancy care).
He has particular interest in cranial and TMJ issues, especially in children and babies and often works with dentists and other health professionals in our local area to achieve optimal results for clients.
Troy is a member of the Australian Chiropractors Association, the College of Chiropractic Pediatrics and the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. He is also volunteer and associate governor of the Australian Spinal Research Foundation as well as teaching and sitting on the board of Sacro Occipital Technique Organisation of Australasia (SOTO-A).
